Who we are
Jacob Makarsky
Founder · Software engineer
I’m Jacob, a software engineer from Westmoreland County, now living in Pittsburgh. When I moved to the city in 2026, I tried to find resources my family might qualify for and things for us to do, but it became very time consuming, and I realized that most people would have a hard time finding the resources and events hidden deep in the "corners" I'd been finding. So I started Community Access Project. I hope our tools help you find what Pittsburgh has to offer!
